The Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase 2023 is set to take place on June 12, 2023, at 10am PT. The showcase will feature news and announcements for upcoming games from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda Softworks, and other partners.
Games Showcase 2023 Expected Games
- Starfield: The highly anticipated space RPG from Bethesda Game Studios. Set in the year 2330, players take on the role of a customizable character who can explore a vast galaxy, complete quests, and battle enemies. Starfield will feature over 1,000 planets to explore, each with its own unique environment and inhabitants. Players will be able to build their own ships, customize their characters, and join factions. Starfield is Bethesda’s first new intellectual property in over 25 years, and it is expected to be one of the biggest games of 2023.
- Redfall: The co-op vampire shooter from Arkane Austin, the studio behind Dishonored and Prey. Set in an isolated island town overrun by vampires, players take on the role of one of four playable characters with unique abilities. Players can work together to explore the town, complete quests, and battle vampires. Redfall will feature a variety of weapons and gadgets, as well as a skill tree that allows players to customize their characters.
- Avowed: The first-person RPG from Obsidian Entertainment, the studio behind Pillars of Eternity and The Outer Worlds. Set in the fantasy world of Eora, players take on the role of a customizable character who can explore a vast world, complete quests, and battle enemies. Avowed will feature a variety of weapons and spells, as well as a skill tree that allows players to customize their characters.
- Perfect Dark: The reboot of the classic spy shooter from The Initiative, a new first-party studio from Xbox Game Studios. Set in the near future, players take on the role of Joanna Dark, a secret agent who must stop a terrorist organization from unleashing a deadly virus. Perfect Dark will feature a variety of weapons and gadgets, as well as a skill tree that allows players to customize their characters.
- Hellblade 2: The sequel to the critically acclaimed action-adventure game from Ninja Theory. Set in the world of Norse mythology, players take on the role of Senua, a Celtic warrior who must journey to Helheim to save the soul of her dead lover. Hellblade 2 will feature stunning visuals, intense combat, and a gripping story that will stay with you long after you finish playing.
